The notes of the spaces for the bass staff are A-C-E-G. For the bass staff, the notes of the lines from bottom to top are G-B-D-F-A. The notes of the lines on the treble staff from bottom to top are E-G-B-D-F while the notes of the spaces are F-A-C-E. On any staff, the notes are always arranged so that the next letter is always on the next higher line or space.
